The Exercises in the book just involve the reading of rhythm without pitch. It is essentailly a book for drummers but canbe used for all instruments.The Part of the title which includes "AND BEYOND" refers to the final Sections dealing with syncopated accents, sticking patterns that produce syncopated sonds, and the rolls on syncopated rhythms.
