This book begins with text and pictures covering care and maintenance of the snare drum, it's
parts and Stick technique. The author created a system he calls, "The Alphabet
System" which basically arranges the study of note values beginning with the easiest
and gradually a step at a time studying the music methodically. The level of this
book is beginner through intermediate. Highly recommended for teachers or disciplined
self-study.
